Catalyst is a 9 month intense discipleship program and college of ministry where students can receive 12 accredited hours of education a year towards their Associate of Arts degree through Southwestern Assemblies of God University while gaining practical hands-on ministry training. Catalyst College of Ministry can be up to a 2 year program if the student is accepted back the following year. If the student completes both years of the Catalyst program, they will have completed 24 accredited hours and be able to apply for ministerial credentialing.

Catalyst is for students who want to put all other distractions aside for 9 months and commit their lives solely to becoming like Jesus. It is also for those students who want to walk out their education and receive hands-on ministry experience while learning principles in the classroom.
